Thank you to all our 2023-2024 PTSA Members! We have made a significant dent in our membership goal of 750, but still have a way to go. If you haven't already, we encourage you to join today. Your involvement in the PTA is crucial to the success of our school community and is vital to helping us reach our membership goal this year.
Joining the PTA is a simple yet impactful way to support your child's education and the overall well-being of our school. Here are a few reasons why your membership matters:
-
Strength in Numbers: The more parents who join, the stronger our collective voice becomes. This allows us to advocate effectively for our children's needs and concerns.
-
Community Building: The PTA organizes various events and activities that bring our school community together. Your involvement helps create a more vibrant and connected school environment.
-
Educational Support: By joining the PTA, you provide valuable resources and support for teachers and students. Your contributions can make a real difference in the classroom.
-
Access to Information: PTA members have access to important updates, information, and opportunities to participate in decision-making processes that affect our school.
Membership is open to all parents, guardians, teachers, and anyone who cares about the welfare of our students. Click Here to join!
If you have any questions or need assistance with the registration process, please feel free to contact us at membershiproswellptsa@gmail.com.

Dear Roswell Community,
We are writing on behalf of the students and faculty of Roswell High School with an exciting and heartwarming initiative that we hold dear to our hearts. On December 10, 2023, Roswell High School will host the fourth annual Shop With a Hornet (SWAH) event. SWAH originated four years ago when Roswell High and Vickery Mill Elementary staff identified 50 students with families experiencing financial difficulties. Each student was gifted $100 to use for purchasing family gifts at a local Target. As per tradition, in 2023, Roswell students and staff will accompany selected students to Target to choose holiday gifts. We will spend the entire day spoiling these children by providing lunch, pictures with Santa, arts & crafts, and much more!
We aim to promote positive connections and embody the true spirit of giving in our community during this holiday season. Our goal is to brighten their holidays, and we kindly request your support. We are contacting you today to request sponsorship for this event. Your donations will cover the costs of shopping funds, transportation, and lunch.
If you are interested in participating as a sponsor for “Shop With a Hornet,” please email Beverly Michaud at michaudb@fultonschools.org. In addition, donations can be made via the SWAH Community Donations OSP link or mailing a check with the attached donation letter. All funds received will support the Shop With a Hornet experience.
Thank you for considering our request and your support on behalf of the Roswell community, participating students, and their families. Let us work together to preserve a heartwarming holiday tradition for these young ones!
Warmest regards,
RHS Media Team

Teens, Screens and the Happy Medium
It is important to assess and monitor the impact of social media use on your student's day-to-day quality of life. If it interferes with their daily tasks, becomes the main source of their socialization, replaces real-time connection, leads to a constant desire to be validated, or leads to a state of comparison with others and increases feelings of anxiety or depression, it may be time to reduce or pause social media use altogether.
Parents are encouraged to monitor social media use not only for inappropriate material, but for the hints of a child’s hidden emotional landscape.
