Multiple Parcels Just Listed Near I-75

Five commercial parcels totaling 18 acres have just been listed with Scott Wilson on Hampton Court and Marketplace Drive.

This is a new opportunity with visibility off I-75, which has traffic counts averaging 62,400 vehicles/day. The sites are located in close proximity to the Avid Hotel, Hampton Inn, Zaxby's, and Longhorn Steakhouse at the 136 Exit on I-75.

Other Perry Development Details

  • Community Development ended the year with 503 new single-family residential building permits from Jan.-Dec. 2021.

  • Cook Out restaurant is under construction on the east side of Sam Nunn Blvd. at the site of the former Taco Bell.

  • The new Chick Fil A, Dunkin Donuts and Jersey Mike's are under construction on the west side of Sam Nunn Blvd.

  • The Houston Home Journal recently featured a story on Perry's growth here.

Madison Holland Buys Landmark Realty
Madison Holland closed on the purchase of Landmark Realty in early January. Landmark Realty was established in Perry, GA in 1987. Holland is a Houston County native and a graduate of Georgia Southern University. He has served the Middle Georgia community in real estate for eight years and is excited to be involved in the growth of Perry. He resides in Flat Creek with his wife, Jennifer, and their son, Hank.

Perry's ISO Rating Improves
The City of Perry recently received an Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating of Class 3/3x. Perry’s previous rating was 4/4x. Perry Fire and Emergency Services is now one of the 9.3% fire departments in the nation with a Class 3 designation. The new rating took effect on Dec. 1, 2021. The ISO evaluates fire departments across the nation to determine how well-equipped they are to respond and extinguish fires in their community. The scale is rated from 1 to 10, with 1 being the best. Many insurance companies use this rating in calculating insurance premiums for commercial property owners.
