As attention starts to fall on the conclusion of 2022 (look out for our full summary on Dec 23rd) and what lies ahead in 2023 we wanted to provide a few key updates:
1. Recreational Indoor programs will be taking a brief holiday season break before reconvening at their current locations. Space is still available at some age divisions for the Winter Indoor Season which kicks off:
· U3, U4, U5, U6 and U8 – January 22
· U10, U12, and U15 – January 15
Please take the chance to book your spot as we expect the Winter season will conclude on the new turf back in our brand new home!
2. OPDL players and staff will take their mandatory winter break from Dec 19th to Jan 29th, 2023. While on-field activity is not permitted the coaching staff will take the opportunity for some in-class or online sessions so that the momentum is maintained after such a strong start to the new cohorts.
3. Competitive teams will also take a brief break over the holidays and return to their normal training schedule from January 9th, 2023.
4. The concrete pad has now been installed and cured. The next step will be for the dome membrane to arrive later this month and be constructed in early January. The new revolving door unit is scheduled to arrive and be installed this week. This will include repairs to the siding. Please note that construction staff and equipment are now regularly on site, therefore anyone visiting the building for soccer related matters is limited to the main entrance to the club house and not the construction site. 5. Office hours will be slightly adjusted over the holiday period as follows:
- Monday Dec 19th- Friday Dec 23rd (9am-5pm)
- Monday 26th to Friday December 30th (CLOSED)
Normal office hours will resume on Tuesday January 3rd.
