Free Cybersecurity Camp at ACC

June 13-17 or July 11-15

The US Department of Homeland Security defines cybersecurity as “the art of protecting networks, devices, and data from unauthorized access or criminal use and the practice of ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.” In this emerging field, you may not have a clear impression of who works in cybersecurity, and what a job in cybersecurity would look like - isn’t just one job—it’s a varied and dynamic collection of careers. For kids who love puzzles, cybersecurity can be an exciting gateway to all the aspects in the world of information safety. ACC’s summer camps are helping students explore how cybersecurity works, get some hands-on foundational skills, and explore career possibilities, all culminating in a Digital Escape Room event on the final day.

Tuition for this Summer Youth Camp is being funded through scholarships provided by a grant from the National Science Foundation. Seats are limited to 15 high school students who are recommended by their school district, on a first come, first serve basis. Seats will fill up fast!
