From Mrs. Pudelko:

Merry Christmas,

The Christmas season allows us time to reflect on our many blessings. This year we have specifically focused on being aware of God Moments - both big and small, in turmoil or in joy! The days leading up to our Christmas break have been filled with joy.  The week started with a wonderful breakfast with Santa. The cafeteria, gathering space and meeting room C were filled with excitement, conversation and the Christmas spirit. Throughout the week, our students dressed for our Christmas spirit week with excitement - from mad for plaid to wacky tacky Christmas, they walked the the halls each day filled with smiles. Our community gathered for our annual Christmas program led by our talented, Mrs. Byerly. The highlight of the night for me was watching our preschool students sing in front of the church. They were so excited to be part of the program. On Thursday, our staff gathered for our annual Christmas dinner party together. It is always so nice to take the time to relax and socialize outside of the day to day hustle. Our week ended with student parties. We are so grateful for the parents who take so much time planning fun parties for our preschool through 8th grade students....there were hot chocolate bars, gift exchanges, games and crafts. All of the students left the building feeling the joy of Christmas...and excitement that they don't have to return to school until January 3rd.

Thank you to everyone who makes these joy filled moments possible...parents, grandparents, teachers, and staff! You are all a blessing to our community. May you feel the joy of Christ this Christmas and enjoy your friends and family.

God bless - see you in the new year!

Friendzy - December News:

We are finishing up our catchphrase “Stress Less and Breath Easy.” The students will get their bodies moving and learn breathing strategies to calm down. They will also listen to relaxing music and color with friends. We will learn about “Mindful Eating” in Building Healthy Communities and have a discussion about different types of hunger and how certain types of food will make us feel.
