Installation Service - Sun, Oct 29, 4:00PM @Gym
Mark the date! Installation of Pastor Noah is only 4 weeks away on Sunday, October 29 at 4pm. Expect a festive afternoon with uplifting worship followed by an all-Immanuel celebration. Details on various ways to be involved can be found below:

Pastor Weidler has graciously offered to prepare his fabulous and famous apple/pork and sauerkraut dish for this tailgate themed party! Any leftovers will be offered for takeout sale! Sign up sheets for tailgate dishes, desserts and beverages and are now in the Narthex! All offerings of food and help are accepted! A huge thanks to our generous and willing Immanuel family!
We are also planning a “gift card” shower for the Kegleys to assist with their relocation: Home Depot, Lowe’s, Ace Hardware, local restaurants, Walmart, Target, grocery stores, etc. Sign ups and gift card box will be in the Narthex! Email suewauer@yahoo.com with questions. Thank you!

- October 11 - Sweets for Sudan, each item is $1.00 and can be purchased during lunch time.
- October 11-October 25 - Mother's Club Coat Drive. There will be a collection bin in the school lobby for gently used coats.
- October 18 - XC and Volleyball Sports pictures in the gym after school (more information to come).
- October 29 - Pastor Noah Kegley's Installation Service. 4:00pm in the gym. Celebration dinner immediately following in the Fellowship Hall.

School Choir Schedule for Grades K-8 - All Students
School choir is a wonderful opportunity for students to worship God with their singing and be part of the Immanuel community of faith in which they belong.
It is important for kids to attend when scheduled to sing with their class. Students should dress nicely for church, be here on time, and sit with their parents. Students will be called up when it is time for them to sing. We encourage families to stay for the entire worship service.

Our Sunday school kids will be doing a servant event for college students! Do you know of a college student who would like a care package? Then please send us their name and address so we can send them one. Please submit all names using this online form no later than October 15th.

Chapel Offering Designations 2023-2024
Each week we collect an offering during chapel to support ministries committed to sharing Christ's love by serving others in a variety of ways. Envelopes will be sent home with students each Friday for the offering on the following Wednesday. In August we have been collecting offerings to support victims of the wildfires in Maui through Lutheran Church Charities. You can learn more here about LCC's efforts in Maui. It is not too late to make a donation for this purpose. In September our chapel offerings will support Walcamp Outdoor Ministry. You can learn more about Walcamp at walcamp.org.

Stay with your child to play, sing, hear a Bible story and make a craft together. This is a simple low key Bible hour and a fun way to grow in faith together. |

Are you ready for a t-shirt class? It takes 12-20 well loved t-shirts; meeting every other week from Sep 23 through Nov 18, and you’ll have a finished quilt ready for a Christmas gift! Sample quilt and sign up sheet are available by the church office (see Penny J). Your only costs will be the materials, the class is free! Contact Sue suewauer@yahoo.com with questions.

Raise Right Gift Cards
Raise Right allows families to support Immanuel while purchasing gift cards for gas, groceries, clothing, coffee, and so much more. Retailers offer a rebate percentage and 55 percent of it goes to ILCS and 45 percent is refunded to purchasers (you!) at the end of the school year. Details and sign-up instructions are available at raiseright.com. Order due dates for gift cards are: October 9 and 23, November 13 and 27, December 4, 11, and 18, January 8 and 22, February 12 and 26, March 4 and 18, April 8 and 22, May 6 and 20. You will receive your gift cards on the Friday after the due date. Check it out, so easy!
