Celebration for Deaconess Wilbert
In 2024, Deaconess Lori Wilbert retired from full time prison ministry after 40 years of faithful service. Many have supported Lori through prayers, gifts, collections of various kinds, cards, and so much more. We need to celebrate this milestone in ministry for Lori and for the Church, and give thanks to God.
You are invited for this celebration on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6201 Vollmer Road, Matteson, IL 60443 to be held at 2:00 p.m. We will gather for a time of thanks and praise to God for Lori's work, followed by a reception where you can speak with Lori and view some mementos of her work in the prison.
No need to RSVP, but please spread the word to anyone you know who might have been a supporter of Lori and her work over these 40 years. Any questions, please contact Rev. Matt Troester at 708-772-3685 or rtroester@stpaulsonline.org.
