Join the Finance & Venture Capital Associate (FVC) and PT-MBA for our Virtual Speakers Series: The Myth of Private Equity on Friday, December 3 at 6 p.m. Jeff Hooke, former investment banker and current Senior Lecturer at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, will be speaking about his experiences in the private equity industry and its flaws.
Prior to joining Carey, he was Managing Director of Focus Investment Bank, and earlier a director at the Emerging Markets Partnership, a $5 billion private equity group; Managing Director of Focus Investment Bank; and Principle Investment Officer of the International Finance Corporate (IFC), World Bank’s $30 billion private sector division. Prior to the IFC he was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Schroder Wertheim in New York.
