Turkey Theology
Starting on Wednesday, November 3rd, 6:30pm – 8:00pm

All around us, we hear different ideas, philosophies and ideologies, but do we compare them to what the Bible says? In this series we will take a look at 3 different misconceptions that the world has and see how the Bible teaches us to address these in our daily lives. Don’t miss this opportunity to set the record straight!

Toy Drive is here!
COG Family Toy Drive: Happening Now!
(WE ARE IN NEED)
In an effort to connect our church and community, we will have our second annual Christmas toy drive and giveaway. We are looking for donations of new unwrapped toys, games, and clothes for children ages 5 years thru 16 years old. We still have a lot of toys for those under the age of 5 from last year's event. We are also taking donations of wrapping paper and Christmas bags as well if possible.
**Needed items: basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, trucks, cars, airplanes, superhero action figures, dolls, building sets like Legos, etc. We have plenty of board games, art and craft sets, books, puzzles, and toys for kids 3 years and under.
We will be collecting gifts until December 8th in drop-off bins located in the North Building foyer.
Please email Anita to coordinate dropping off gifts (or bring them with you to Sunday service), to volunteer to help, or if you have other questions.
Adult Discipleship Class: 8:45am-9:45am
We will be starting an eight-week course based on the book Cold-Case Christianity by J Warner Wallace that looks at the evidence that supports Christianity. We will meet in the South Building in Room 7. If you are interested in this class, you can sign up at the "Get Connected" table or email Tom King. Click here to see the study information.
Operation Christmas Child Processing: December 3rd, 2021, 6pm-10pm
It is time to build boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We have 100 boxes to fill with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, etc. These boxes will be shared with kids around the globe as they learn about Jesus, the greatest Gift of all! You can pick up boxes in the back of the sanctuary. Please return them to COG by Nov 21st, December 5th at the latest.
COG is also going to help at the distribution center on Dec 3rd from 6-10 pm. We have spots for 40 people, and you can sign up at the Get Connected table. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old.

Women's Ministry Christmas Brunch: December 4th, 2021, 10:00am
Saturday, December 4th at 10:00 AM, Women's Ministry is having a Christmas Brunch hosted by Kathleen Chandler. Please bring an ornament to exchange and a food to share such as fruit, bagels, juice, etc. Come join in the fun of fellowship and exchanging Christmas ornaments along with singing Christmas carols and a devotional. For more information and to sign up, go to the "Get Connected" table in the back of the sanctuary.
Women's Ministry: "Secret Sister" is coming in December. Sign up at the "Get Connected" table.
Fit2Serve: "Virtual Step Challenge" December 4-18. Step your way to some favorite get-away places. Details and sign-up at the "Get Connected" table.
COG Toy Give-Away: December 10th & 11th
We will hand out gifts to those in need on December 10th from 5 pm - 8 pm and on December 11th from 8:00 am - 12 pm, and we have flyers printed for you to give to your neighbors. We need volunteers to help hand out toys. You can sign up at the "Get Connected" table.
Lottie Moon: Month of December, goal is $8000.00
Lottie Moon was a Southern Baptist Missionary to China in 1885-1912. She was instrumental in the creation of the Women's Missionary Union, which has over a million members today. This offering, taken every Christmas season, is named in honor of Lottie Moon, with 100% of donations going to help missionaries all over the world. This year, Community of Grace's giving goal is $8,000.00. I know that we can do this, church.

Year-End Giving:
In order for your contributions to be included with your 2021 giving statement, it is necessary for all in-person contributions be made no later than December 28th for on-line and December 30th hand-in. Our last physical deposit will be made on December 31st.
All online giving must be completed by December 28th, because there is a two-day delay between online giving and it being deposited in Community of Grace’s bank account. Your donation must be in our bank account by December 30th, 2021 in order for them to be included with your 2021 Giving Statement. If you have questions, please email Rhonda Mott.
