Six Simple Ways to Support Clothes To Kids Before the Holidays!
Please take a moment right now to make your year-end contribution go further by making your Colorado Gives Day gift early. Any donation made today through December 6 increases our share of the $1.6 Million Colorado Gives Day Incentive Fund. The more you donate, the more we will receive from this special “bonus” fund!
After a record-breaking back to school season, we are in dire need of clean and ready-to-wear clothing and shoes. We are accepting donations on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Check our updated Clothing & Shoe Donation page for a list of the items we accept and our greatest needs.
Raise funds for Clothes To Kids when you buy your groceries at King Soopers! Simply link your SooperCard to Clothes To Kids, and we will receive a portion of your purchases. Click here to reach the Community Rewards search screen (create an online King Soopers account first, if needed) and enter our account number GV047 or name Clothes To Kids of Denver. Click the blue "Enroll" button. You're ready to shop!
Doing some holiday shopping on Amazon.com? Enter the site through AmazonSmile, and 0.5% of your purchase will go to support Clothes To Kids. While you're there, consider sending our shoppers some love through our Amazon Wish List. The items on this list are a great way to support our mission. Even better, your purchases ship directly to our shop!
Do you sell on eBay? Use eBay's Charity Search to select Clothes To Kids of Denver, then look for the “Donate a portion to charity” option when you create a listing. Sell and ship items as usual and, within a few weeks, we will automatically receive your donation via PayPal.
Have some extra time? Check out our Volunteer Opportunities! We expect to be very busy through the end of the year and need your help in the shop to finish strong. Volunteer shifts are available Tuesday-Saturday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. We especially need adult volunteers who can make a regular commitment on Wednesday mornings and/or Saturdays.
Thanksgiving Weekend Store Hours

Please note that our store will be closed
November 24 - 28
in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Thank you!
Lighting Installation Needed
After several major improvements to our donation center and shopping areas, one big project that remains is our lighting. We are looking for LED Strip lighting and installation for our 2,500 square foot store. If you or someone you know can help, please contact Valerie Lunka at val@clothestokidsdenver.org

Thank you!
Sharing the Love

Our new volunteer Cindy Kellogg, hosted a fabulous cocktail party benefiting Clothes To Kids. She collected an impressive 68 pairs of shoes for our shoppers and introduced us to many of her lovely friends!

This energetic group of moms and daughters from the Elevation Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. spent a morning organizing our extras and our shoe department. Their efforts left the shop looking absolutely fantastic!

When these volunteers from the Denver office of McKinsey & Company arrived, we had just received a donation of more than 600 items. This mighty crew got right to work and hung every item on the racks in our shop in just under two hours. Whew!

This incredibly energetic volunteer group from Denver Christian School helped us clear out our storage area, organize boxes, clean bins, tag clothing and restock. They made our space look great for our shoppers!

These young ladies from St. Mary's Academy sorted and organized in every part of our shop during their recent volunteer shift. We have partnered with St. Mary's in a variety of ways since our founding in 2008, and we are so thankful for the hard-working youth that have served with us over the years!

Jay and his son dropped off a huge donation of brand new shirts from Colorway Company. Jay also brought in the bulk of his personal shoe collection - two full bins of new and nearly new shoes. Our shoppers have been enjoying all of them!

Cory just brought us a second load of warm winter coats from our wonderful partner Ridwell. Luckily, our volunteer Miles was there to help unload...the bags filled two fitting rooms to the top! Ridwell makes reducing waste easy by picking up many hard-to-recycle household items from their members. Check them out!

Our friend Sue from Sock It To Em Sock Campaign brought us an amazing donation of more than 3,000 pairs of socks. Our shoppers have been quick to snap up the bright, colorful and fun designs.

We had the pleasure of hosting two fantastic volunteer groups from Gallagher. A crew in the morning and a crew in the afternoon allowed for a full day of donation processing, which is extra important this time of year!
