Mourning the Loss of LASD Sergeant Christopher Bracks
End of Watch: 5/10/22

PPOA was sincerely saddened to learn of the unexpected passing of LASD Sergeant Christopher Bracks on Tuesday. Sergeant Bracks and his wife, Custody Assistant Viviana Bracks, were participating in the 2022 Police Unity Tour, an annual 3-day bicycle ride on the East Coast during National Police Week, when Sergeant Bracks suddenly suffered a medical emergency that, sadly, claimed his life.

Sergeant Bracks was 44-years old and a dedicated 16-year LASD veteran. We ask that you keep his wife and the entire Bracks family in your thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult time.
