Hear from Leda Braga, Gilson Finkelsztain, Ana Buchaim and Amanda Pullinger, on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with a focus on B3, the Brazilian stock exchange, which has led the way on ESG best practices.

The event will be broadcast worldwide, offering a unique window into ESG practices and their impact in investments.

The event will be conducted in English. Portuguese simultaneous translation will be available.

Leda Braga
Founder & CEO, Systematica Investments

Leda is the founder and CEO of Systematica. Prior to joining Systematica, Leda was the President and Head of Systematic Trading at BlueCrest Capital Management for 14 years. Prior to BlueCrest Leda was part of Cygnifi Derivatives Services (a J.P. Morgan spin-off). At Cygnifi she was part of the management team and was head of its Valuation Service. Prior to Cygnifi, Leda spent nearly seven years at J.P. Morgan as a Quantitative Analyst in the derivatives research team. Her past experience includes modelling of interest rate exotics, FX/interest rate hybrid instruments and equity derivatives. She holds a PhD in Engineering from Imperial College London, where she worked as a lecturer and led research projects for over three years prior to joining J.P. Morgan. In addition Leda has served as an advisor to the board of the pension fund of the CERN in Geneva and on the advisory board of the London School of Economics' Systemic Risk Centre. In 2019, she has joined the Board of Trustees for the Standards Board for Alternative Investments (SBAI).

Ana Buchaim
Managing Director of People, Marketing, Communication and Sustainability, B3

Ana Buchaim is Managing Director of People, Marketing, Communication and Sustainability at B3, heading up all cultural and brand transformation for the new company that was created in 2017. She heads up diversity and inclusion projects and initiatives and is responsible for promoting the ESG agenda, sustainable investment and best practices with listed companies. She has a degree in Business Administration from the School of Economics, Business and Accounting of the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP), with a Change Management specialization from the Chicago Booth School of Business and a Psychoanalysis qualification from the Centro de Estudos Psicanalíticos (center for psychoanalytic studies). She has a solid career history in financial institutions such as Banco Santander, ABN Amro and Citibank, and at Cetip where she was responsible for developing the Human Resources area.

Gilson Finkelsztain
CEO, B3

Mr. Gilson Finkelsztain is the CEO of B3 since May 2017. From August 2013 to April 2017 he was CEO of Cetip S/A (Brazilian Central Securities Depository) and served as member of the Board of Directors of Cetip from 2011 to 2013, while working at Santander. Gilson has more than 20 years of experience in the financial and capital markets, always in global institutions such as Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Santander, where he held different management positions related to Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Equities and Commodities. Gilson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Production Engineering from Pontíficia Universidade Católica – PUC Rio de Janeiro (1994) with an extension in Advanced Management at INSEAD (2011).

Amanda Pullinger
Chief Executive Officer, 100 Women in Finance

Ms. Pullinger is the Chief Executive Officer of 100 Women in Finance. She leads a staff team and provides direction to 500 volunteer practitioners globally. The organization, which has registered members in 28 locations, is focused on empowering women in the finance industry and inspiring the next generation of pre-career young women. Ms. Pullinger is a former principal of Aquamarine Capital Management, where she was responsible, over a period of seven years, for managing marketing, investor relations and back office administration for two private investment funds. Ms. Pullinger is Chair and Non Executive Director of the Board of FlyPlymouth, based in Plymouth, UK. She also serves on the Boards of the HALO Trust (USA), the American Friends of The National Portrait Gallery (London) Foundation and as a Director on the Oxford University Alumni Board. She is President of the Brasenose Society, Vice Chair of the Women’s Network Forum and an Advisory Board Member of the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance (Harambe). Previously, she served as Chairman of the Board of The HALO Trust (www.halotrust.org) and served on the Board of Langone NYU Cancer Institute. She was on the founding Board of 100 Women in Finance, serving as its President for two years. She is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Ms. Pullinger graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University in 1987 with an Honours Degree in Modern History. She earned an MBA from La Salle University, Philadelphia, in 1998, and received the Academic Award for MBA student of the year as well as the Beta Gamma Sigma designation.
