Hello First Presbyterian Church,

There are some weeks when it seems like every facet of the ministry of the church is lived into more fully, all at the same time.

From gathering to celebrate and remember the lives of Wayne Nelson and Virginia Maupin, to cookies being made and punch served...

From Sometimers meeting over a delicious breakfast to a credit card charge to keep someone housed for a few more weeks...

From children playing on the soccer field to preparations for the installation and ordination of the next class of elders this coming Sunday...

Ministry is multi-faceted and so very beautiful. What a gift it is to be a part of this faith community, and to journey together through both the joy and the pain that life brings?

May we continue to hold tightly to God and to one another in the days ahead.
