2021 Annual Report
Annual reports are a way for organizations to share comprehensive information about activities from the past year. Here at Maria Droste, we are proud to share the ways in which we have used your generous contributions and the steps we are taking to improve access to mental health for all Coloradans. Read below to learn more about our strategic initiatives and how we plan to continue our mission into the future.
Macro Intern Recruitment
Recruitment for the 2022-2023 Macro Intern cohort is underway! If you know any students looking for a foundation or concentration year macro internship, please encourage them to read more about our program and apply here.
Mission/Vision/Clarity Statements in Action
MDCC is trying to integrate our mission, vision, and clarity statements into our everyday lives. We will be highlighting the ways in which community members embody our values in future newsletters. This month's shoutout goes to our Chief Program Officer, Tiernen Archibald! Folks in the Maria Droste community note that Tiernen embodies our mission statement:

"Tiernen is working hard to make changes and updates to the Options program, while also ensuring that access to care does not change and that barriers continue to be broken down!"

Thank you for living MDCC's mission, Tiernen!
Diversifying the Workforce
The Diversifying the Behavioral Health Workforce Project is a Colorado-based collaboration of behavioral healthcare providers whose goal is to strategically grow and nourish a talent pipeline that is more representative of our communities. Explore our new Diversifying the Workforce webpage to read the Strategic Plan and for more information, or contact Diversifying@MariaDroste.org with any inquiries.

Mental Health Happy Hour success
Thanks to Heather Rera, Cara Lipford, C.J. Malament, Kim Stromgren, Keiko Yoneyama-Sims, and Sneha Gaikwad for facilitating wonderful breakout sessions at last week's Mental Health Happy Hour event! Your efforts alongside Jess Brese, Hannah Brocious, Suzette Gasca, Patrice Hawkins, and other staff, board, and volunteers' help made this a largely successful event - building community, having important mental health conversations, and raising over $4,000!
