TOMORROW - LITERACY IS ON THE BOARD'S AGENDA

Tuesday, January 18th at 12:00pm

Big news! Literacy is on the agenda tomorrow at noon for the HPISD Board’s Education Workshop at the Multipurpose Building (6900 Douglas) at the request of Bryce Benson and Doug Woodward.

Please make plans to attend, as there are several board members who believe community concern is minimal. A strong turnout communicates the importance of this issue to parents and creates accountability for board members.

The English Language Arts Subcommittee (board members Stacy Kelly, Bryce Benson & Maryjane Bonfield) will provide a progress report on their efforts. This is a rare opportunity for all board members to discuss literacy together, as any discussions with four or more board members must be in a public meeting.

If this issue is important for your family, please make plans to attend.

The meeting is open to the public and all you have to do is show up. No RSVP is required, you don't need to speak publicly, and there isn't even a sign-in sheet at the door - just come listen and learn.
