Reminder - Test Pick-Up, NEW Protocols

Test Before Returning to Campus on January 24
We expect all students and faculty to test and upload results prior to January 24. Please review the below information:
  • TEST - You may use your own antigen tests, schedule a PCR, or participate in our next test kit pick-up.
  • ANTIGEN TEST INSTRUCTIONS: WHEN TO TAKE TESTS
  • If you are taking an antigen test, you will test twice: once on Friday January 21 AND again on Monday morning January 24. 
  • Upload your test results, whether positive or negative.
  • If you have a positive result, stay home, contact our Joffe Health Coordinator at joffehealth@bishopodowd.org and follow isolation protocols.
  • PCR TEST INSTRUCTIONS - Generally, PCR tests can take up to 3 days to return. Therefore, please schedule your PCR test on January 20 or 21 to receive results by January 23.
  • Upload Your Test Results - Please upload test results: COVID-19 Test Result Submission. Upload antigen results January 21 and January 24. Upload PCR results January 23. (Note: You will select "Surveillance" on the form as reason for test).
  • O’Dowd Antigen Test Kit Pick-Up Schedule (IF you need a kit): 
  • If your family already has antigen tests or scheduled PCR tests, you do not need to pick up a test kit. 
  • Drive-Through Pick-Up Dates: 
  • Wednesday, Jan 19, 8:00am to 5:30pm
  • Thursday, Jan 20, 8:00am to 5:30pm 
  • Bring Student ID for pick-up (one kit per student)
  • Enhance Your Masking - We STRONGLY encourage KN95 or double masking (including a surgical mask) amid this Omicron variant.

Masking has continued to be an important factor in stopping the spread of COVID-19. The below chart details why we recommend N95 and KN95 masks.
