February has been a very productive month at the Chamber. Our Board of Directors and Chamber Team continue to focus on our priorities for 2023 including “Connecting Commerce and Community”. We continue to focus on improving cross promotion of services and events amongst Chamber members, increasing our visibility as a place to live, work, visit and play, enhance cultural initiatives and to continue to grow our economy in a responsible and thoughtful way.

Our Government Affairs Council had their monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 14. The Chamber’s Director of Community Relations, Olivia Perez-O’Dess, began the meeting by giving her community relations update for the late January, early February time period.

Regional Business Briefing Survey
On Friday, February 24th, 16 business organizations met with Congressman Seth Moulton to brief him on the challenges that businesses are facing in the region. As a follow-up to that discussion, we are seeking additional information directly from businesses and other organizations that will be helpful to policymakers, including Congressman Moulton, that impact businesses.
Survey responses should be received by March 24th to be be included.
