WRAPPING IT UP
Preparations for Great Lake State Weekend (GLSW) are coming together! It is clear that the event has a positive impact on almost every facet of the campus. The Nursing program is kicking off a yearlong 50th celebration while the Engineering House is proud to welcome guests to recognize their 10-year anniversary.

The overarching theme for GLSW is the beginning of LSSU’s 75th Anniversary. For the first time ever during this homecoming weekend, there will be a fireworks display on the north side of the Cisler Center. It will be like a huge birthday cake for LSSU!

As you can see from this edition, there are so many special events that I would recommend you attend. The best way to enjoy the weekend is sign up for the new GLSW Power Pack. You will get a special edition 75th LSSU Anniversary long-sleeve tee and a wristband that serves as your pass to some really, fun stuff.

Your Power Pack will provide you with single admission to the Alumni Awards and Hall of Fame socials and ceremonies, Pre-Gamer on the Courts, 75th Fireworks Show and the GLSW Steak & Egger Brunch on Saturday with a menu fit for a Laker! You can register here: alumni.lssu.edu/glsw-2021

It has been too long since we could welcome Lakers back home to campus. This is going to be a truly GREAT Great Lake State Weekend!
