Fall Quarter Welcomes in 50 New Students

50 new students joined the Sherman Pride on Monday during fall quarter orientation. This marked the beginning of their journey toward adjusting the world for a better future.

Lyceum 2021: Time to Shine is Almost Here!

We are officially less than a month away from Lyceum 2021: Time to Shine! Register now to join us on our beautiful campus in Spartanburg, South Carolina from October 28-30, 2021. Enjoy a weekend full of chiropractic and fun while earning up to 23 hours of continuing education. We can't wait to see you there!
Financial Aid Hosts Second FL!P Seminar

The Office of Financial Aid held its second FL!P seminar focusing on "Budgeting and Net Worth." Hillary Dobson of Truist Bank facilitated the seminar to a group of 30 students ranging from quarters 1-14. "This FL!P learning session was incredibly insightful," said second-quarter student Nick Foster. "Hillary is very knowledgable and provides practical tools and guidance. My wife and I attend these little sessions together to help build a healthier financial foundation for our family and future. We appreciate the Financial Aid Office and Sherman College providing the tools and opportunity to learn more about these subjects."

IRAPS Call for Abstracts Deadline October 1st

The call for abstracts deadline for the 17th International Research and Philosophy Symposium (IRAPS) is only a few days away! IRAPS is a peer-reviewed chiropractic conference that addresses vertebral subluxation research and the philosophy of chiropractic. To be considered for presentation, abstracts must be submitted by October 1, 2021. IRAPS will be held in conjunction with Lyceum 2022, April 28-30 on the Sherman College campus in Spartanburg, SC.
Sherman Students Awarded Bucks for Boards Scholarship

Two Sherman College students, Madison Hoag and Isabel Velez were among 50 chiropractic students in the country awarded the Bucks for Boards scholarship from the National Chiropractic Mutual Insurance Company (NCMIC). NCMIC, in conjunction with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE), launched this scholarship program in 2020 to support students as they take chiropractic board exams. Hoag and Velez were each awarded $500. Bucks for Boards scholarships are awarded to 50 students four times during the year for an annual total of 200 scholarships totaling $100,000.
