Join us for a special monthly meet up - in March we're doing BRUNCH at the Bar!

Mark your calendar and plan to network with fellow women in the law next Tuesday, March 11 from 11am - 1pm at Salt City Coffee and Bar!

CNYWBA will once again be hosting the award-winning Read Across America program at two local schools and donating books to each school’s library.

This year’s program will be hosted at Main Street Early Education Program next Friday, March 14, 2025, and East Syracuse Elementary School on March 27, 2025.

We are looking for volunteers to read at each school and hope that you can participate. It is allowed and encouraged for readers to choose multiple schools and/or multiple time slots.

Parthenon Books on Salina Street will offer a 10% discount on the purchase of children's books if you mention you're purchasing to donate to Read Across America!

Congratulations to CNYWBA Board Member Kimberly Wolf Price who will be honored April 4th during the 2025 Syracuse University Alumni Awards Celebration. No one will be surprised to learn she will be awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award for her commitment to Syracuse University as a volunteer. All are invited to celebrate: Register here!

CNYWBA Board Member and Syracuse University College of Law professor Lauryn Gouldin, along with her students and a colleague, recently published an opinion piece in Syracuse.com | The Post Standard in response to a viral video of Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies detaining an 11-year-old girl in handcuffs. Read their piece here: Automatically handcuffing people during police stops violates the Constitution.
