Make a Giving Tuesday gift to

Movement Disorders Foundation's

100% donation match

Movement Disorders Foundation is committed to funding the most promising translational research and treatments to improve the quality of life for people with movement disorders. We provide seed funding for research projects that have a clear possibility of working at scale, but for which grant funding may have been difficult to obtain.

MDF funding accelerates such projects to a more reliable proof of concept. But we need your support to ensure we can continue finding, assessing and supporting today's most innovative "undiscovered pioneers" in research.

Please support our efforts by giving during our match campaign and your tax-deductible gift will be DOUBLED. Make twice the impact for MDF research and education programs by clicking here

All gifts given up to $10,000 will be doubled through 11:59 P.M. MST on December 6. Every dollar you give will be matched with $1.

"We're actually uncovering molecular pathways at the core of PD pathology...."

Daniel Paredes, Ph. D. is a Research Assistant Professor at the Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging at the University of Denver. In 2020, Dr. Paredes was the first recipient of a Movement Disorders Foundation Pilot Grant to fund innovative research.

"Thanks to [the Movement Disorders Foundation], we're actually uncovering molecular pathways and mechanisms at the core of the Parkinson's disease pathology itself.... By setting the ground to test drugs that are already FDA approved, we're ahead of the curve to prove that these drugs [can] work to slow down the progression of Parkinson's disease."
