From the Flight Deck
Legacy Community Member
We are in the countdown to Winter Break. We only have two weeks left until Winter Break begins and the end of the first semester of school. The majority of this week we will be on modified bell schedules for testing. The different tests that will be administered are Common Final Exams (CFEs) for our semester courses like PE and Progress Monitoring Activities (PMAs) in areas such as science and STAR testing in Algebra and Geometry.

It is important that students bring their charged laptop each day to school in preparation for testing. Please encourage your students to prepare for these tests and also turn in any missing assignments. With the end of the quarter and semester fast approaching, teachers will be submitting grades and there is still time for students to raise their grades.

This week we will also continue our countdown to Winter Break theme days. (The first two days were a success last week!) We will also have a no early release Wednesday this week on the 7th. A full list of the hurricane makeup days are contained in this Jets in Action edition. Finally, our talented dance students will also be having their Dance Holiday Showcase on the 8th. Please come out and support our Jets in this performance.

I am looking forward to another great week on the flight deck! Thank you for reading.
