garage Announcing the Death of David Donovan
Remembering Our Associate Pastor Emeritus
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of friend and Associate Pastor Emeritus David A. Donovan, who died on Monday, March 20. David served Fourth Church faithfully as an Associate Pastor from 1978 to 1997.

Plans are being made for a memorial service to be held after Easter; details will be announced when they are finalized.

Please join us in holding David's family in prayer and in giving thanks to God for his ministry among us; for his good and faithful life; and for the promise of eternal life we've been given in Christ.

volunteer Volunteer at Fourth Church
There are several ways to get involved in the mission and ministry of Fourth Church. See below for details!

Current Volunteer Needs
Easter Sunday Night Supper volunteers are needed to cook (2:00 to 6:00 p.m.) and serve (3:30 to 6:00 p.m.) the Fourth Church Meals Ministry supper for our guests who are hungry and homeless. Those interested in helping out on Easter Sunday, April 16 should email Robert Crouch, Director of Volunteer Ministry.

Tutors are needed one evening a week from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the church to work with students of the Chicago Lights Tutoring program. A one-session orientation will be held Tuesday, April 4 at 6:00 p.m. in Room 4F. RSVP online or with Fernie Tiflis.

Current Donation Needs
The Meals Ministry Bag Lunch program is in immediate need of sweet snacks, such as granola bars, cookie packs, pudding cups, or unopened boxes of Girl Scout cookies to be used in packing lunches. Donations labeled "Bag Lunches" can be dropped off at the church reception desk.

To sign up for volunteer opportunities or to learn more about them, stop by Coffee Hour on Sunday morning or email Robert Crouch, Director of Volunteer Ministry.
