Over the years the meaning of Thanksgiving has changed from what I was originally taught about the holiday. I know that things went down a bit differently that what our grade school text books taught us--in short, it wasn't good for the Indigenous people.
While I'm not celebrating the colonization of America, I do appreciate when we all take a collective break and and spend time with family, friends or just take the day off. I think most of us work way to much, so anytime we can have a day to rest, relax and reflect is generally a good thing. For some, these seasonal holidays are the only time we get to see distant family and friends together. That being said, for those in the DC, MD, VA area, I'm helping take the load off even more by preparing your Thanksgiving meal for you! Get your orders in now.
Details: We will deliver your fully prepared meal on the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving. Orders close on noon, November 21st.
