The Midland Spur work is proceeding on schedule. The retaining wall is constructed, utility lines are being put in place and the work has gone smoothly.
If you live and/or work in the vicinity of the Midland Spur, there will be overnight sewer work that begins on May 10 at 7 a.m. and runs through May 11 at 6 p.m. that will be noisy. The reason for the overnight work is to reduce the amount of time sewer service is off-line for customers in the area and to expedite this specific construction activity.
We thank you for your patience while the Town of Basalt undergoes an improvement project that is a once in every 50 years (or more) event. We recognize the inconvenience and look forward to seeing a much improved streetscape when the project is completed.
