We plan to put down the final layer of asphalt at the Farmington and River roads intersection 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on March 10-12.

The contactor has been approved for extended work hours so that paving can be completed without a full road closure. Flaggers will direct traffic. Expect delays or consider using another route during paving.

We need warmer, drier conditions for asphalt to set correctly. We may need to reschedule paving if the weather is not favorable. We will send an update if schedules change.

Pavement marks/striping will be installed at least two weeks after paving.
