Special Parish meeting for delegates to select a new bishop!

On Sunday, November 27, after the 10am Service we will hold a special parish meeting to vote for three delegates and three alternatives to send to the cathedral in early January to select a new bishop for our diocese. This is our opportunity as a parish to have a voice in our leadership. If you are interested in running as a delegate let Father Justin know by Wednesday, November 23 by calling or emailing the parish office. Office: 609-927-6262 or ccsprector@verzon.net.

To be a delegate you must be a member of our parish and active communicant according to the canons of the Episcopal Church.

Operation Bear Hug! Update

This Christmas, Christ Episcopal, Somers Point, will be participating in Operation Bear Hug. This project spreads Christmas comfort to residents dwelling within our local care centers and the homebound. We would like our parish family to help make this year‘s operation a success by donating a bear. After we collect the bears, a contingent of youth and volunteers will hand-deliver them around Christmas, we are scheduled to deliver bears to patients at Shore Memorial Hospital on December 17!

The QR code provided is the direct link to Amazon for bear donations.
