2022 Annual Meeting - January 21, 2022 The WTS Charlotte Metro Chapter will be hosting our Annual Meeting and Scholarship Awards Announcement on Friday, January 21, 2022. Join us for a Q&A session with Gretchen Goldman as we focus on her Personal and Professional Journey through STEM, and How Do We Engage More Young Minds for This Task. 2022 Chapter Events - Save these dates!

The WTS Charlotte Metro Chapter Board had their annual Board Retreat this week to plan Chapter events for 2022. Please save the dates below for our upcoming programs: February 24, 2022 CONNECT Beyond Study Recommendations virtual lunch and learn with Michelle Nance, Centralina Regional Council and Jason Lawrence, CATS. March 22, 2022 Andrea Foard, Cobb County DOT (GA) Transit Division Manager / Deputy Director will discuss her career path in transportation and her experience with transportation referendums. April 28, 2022 The Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO) 2050 MTP team will discuss the 2050 MTP process and study recommendations.

The conference theme is Women and Innovation in Engineering, and the keynote speaker will be NCDOT Deputy Secretary Julie White. 2022 NCAMPO Conference, April 20-22

The North Carolina Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations (NCAMPO) Conference will be held next year for the first time since 2019. The Conference will take place at the Wilmington Convention Center on April 20-22, 2022.
