Read: Psalm 126

Then our mouth was filled with laughter,

    and our tongue with shouts of joy;

Psalm 126:2

Many families contain exiled members that haven’t participated or been available to the family unit for many reasons, including the isolation of sickness and or disease.  Christmas offers a season of reconciliation for both parties.

Prayer provides an unseen catalyst to bring about and facilitate this reconciliation.  Prayer of this type often requires years and years of devoted and concentrated prayer.  When finally, a prayer is answered – an unspeakable joy is felt.  This experience of joy takes work and dedication and is strengthened and tempered in the recruitment of others to join in the prayer of reconciliation.  True prayer warriors know the real joy of having an exiled loved one return to the family.  So, we encourage you to laugh in the joy of family and friends present.  Celebrate their place in your life and make sure you say the words, “You are loved and valued.”
