What a Night!
On Monday, the Bocce Club was filled with the energy of Highwood and beyond as we came together to celebrate the past, present, and future of the Highwood Chamber. To everyone who joined us—thank you! And to those who wished to attend but found the event sold out—we felt your support and truly appreciate your enthusiasm.
Chamber Board President George Zamarron of Carpets of Highwood led the meeting, reflecting on the Chamber’s impact as photos from our 2024 events played on the screen. Chamber Board members shared updates on finances, events, membership, and marketing, and City Manager Scott Coren offered insight into the changes ahead for Highwood.
The true highlight of the night was an incredible film by Emmy Award winners Mike Leonard and Mary Kay Wall, celebrating Highwood’s longstanding businesses and ever-evolving business community. It was a moment of nostalgia, pride, and deep appreciation—tears were shed, and the standing ovation said it all.
Mindy Garfinkle Photography provided headshots (or, as Lenny Innocenzi put it, “photographs of your heads”), capturing each personality with warmth and authenticity. Mindy’s passion spans everything from intimate weddings and bar mitzvahs to corporate gatherings.
Robin Subar Photography was there, capturing the essence of the evening with her signature style and a special talent for putting people at ease. A keen observer, she knows that unpredictable moments happen in the blink of an eye and has a gift for capturing authenticity.
Thank you to our incredible Sponsors and Raffle Donors. Events like this cannot be executed without the support of the community and beyond.
