San Benito County Chamber of Commerce & Foundation Announce Woman, Man & Businesses of the year!

Press Release Hollister, CA August 9, 2023 The San Benito County Chamber of Commerce is busy organizing our largest event of the year – our 102nd Annual Awards Dinner, which will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Leal Vineyards. We are pleased to announce that this year's event will be presented by our 2022 Large Business of the Year Honoree and one of San Benito County's leading companies, TEKNOVA. The purpose of the “Man & Woman of the Year” award is to recognize and honor residents living in and serving San Benito County as a role model for continuous and outstanding volunteer service to our community. Nominees do not have to be Chamber members. The Review Committee considers only work done in a voluntary capacity, length of service, benefit to the community, and the spirit in which the work is done. The “Business of the Year” award recognizes and honors businesses in the County of San Benito that have exhibited creativity, overcome obstacles, and provided excellent customer service. The San Benito County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will select the Business of the Year honorees from nominations submitted. Businesses must be current chamber members. Event Details- What to Expect

4:30 Doors Open (seating will be assigned). 5:00-6:00 pm Cocktail hour, Raffle Ticket & Wine Safe Code Sales Raffle tickets $5/each or 5 for $20. Wine safe codes $20/each. Wine safe is filled with local wine, beer & sake All raffle proceeds go towards our scholarship program for SBC youth. 6:00 pm Opening Remarks, Welcome & Introduction of Dignitaries 6:10 Plated Dinner 6:55 Honoree Toast 7:00 Awards Presentations 8:00-9:30 Music & Dancing 9:30 Raffle Drawing & Silent Auction Winners 10:00 Closing remarks

Dinner Menu

The Annual Awards Event will include a plated dinner for all guests of Saffron Artichoke Chicken, Potatoes Au Gratin, Seasonal Vegetables, Caesar Salad, and Focaccia Bread.

Desserts

Each guest will receive a pastry box filled with desserts from one of your favorite bakers! It's a surprise, but we promise you'll love it!

Drinks

All guests will be greeted with a champagne glass filled with Leal Sparkling Rose. This glass is a keepsake and yours to take home. No host bar open 4:30-10:00 pm

Completed Raffle Basket Requests

The San Benito County Chamber is in need of donations of completed baskets, or gift certificates for goods or services for this year's Annual Awards Event. All raffle and silent auction proceeds will benefit our Scholarship Program. Last year we were able to award over $50,000 with the community's support. Please call 831.637.5315 or email admin@SanBenitoCountyChamber.com to coordinate pick up or drop off of completed baskets. Donations are requested by October 13, 2023.
