Pathways to Healing looks at the 23rd Psalm this Saturday at 10:30.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. …”

My friends,

Can you remember a time you prayed this psalm? Was it a happy occasion? A sad one? And, afterwards, how did you feel? Like you had actually spent a period of time—short though it may have been—relaxing by a stream? Being filled with grace and supported by God, by a loving community?

Would it be helpful to feel that grace, that support, again?

This Saturday, Ginny Simms is going to lead us in praying and looking at the 23rd Psalm.

Please come. It’s OK if you’ve never been before. A loving community awaits.

FOOD DONATIONS Always needed for the

Ecumenical Food Closet

A new year and a chance to increase the amount we donated in 2024!

Please bring in anything you can, especially the following requested items:

-Soup

-Beans

-Snacks for school children

-CEREAL, CEREAL, CEREAL

-Boxed or powdered milk

-Chef Boyardee - Spaghetti and

meatballs are a favorite!!

-Dish soap in small bottles (if you can find them at a good price)

Due to the full bags and the cold weather, bags with donations are ripping more than usual. When possible, please double bag the paper bags or use plastic (we will do our best to see that they are reused).” Cloth bags or bags with strong handles are also very helpful.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK- WE LOVE FULL BAGS. Just want to make sure all donations are transported safely.
