Growth and Preparation

Greetings Ministry Partners,

The month of January was exciting. We shared CCI Liberia's plans and prayed for God's direction as we equipped Liberian pastors and church leaders. We thank God for the opportunities before us and are determined, with God's help, to use them to the glory of God.

CCI teachers were involved in their regular duties of teaching and overseeing the purchase of books for their students. Some classes are going through Book 4, while others are going through Book 5. We thank God for the dedicated teachers with whom CCI Liberia is partnering. Their dedication and commitment to CCI's vision are the real deal. We thank God for Crossing Cultures International and are truly blessed to serve as teachers and leaders of this unique Christian ministry in Liberia.

CCI leadership and teachers have been officially informed about the visit of Dr. David Nelson, President of CCI, to Liberia in March. We are all excited and are preparing for his visit. Twenty teachers will gather in Monrovia to meet with Dr. Nelson. Dr. Nelson's visit will include training teachers, speaking at the Advanced Expository Seminar, discussing CCI Liberia 2025 plans, and interacting with CCI students. Dr. Nelson will also preach at two churches (LCMI-Liberia Christian Ministries Int’l Church and Omega Community Church) during his visit. Please keep Dr. Nelson's visit to Liberia in your prayers.

Looking ahead, three TTWs are scheduled for February and March:

  • February 13-15 – FDA Community
  • February 18-20 – Omega Market
  • March 3-4, 8 – Police Academy Community, Montserrado County

Please pray for the success of these trainings as we equip more leaders for ministry.

For January, all teachers were recognized and appreciated on the phone for their commitment to CCI. The students continue to experience a significant shift in their understanding of God's Word. They cannot stop sharing with others in their churches and respective communities. The month under review was great, and everything went well.

We appreciate your prayers and support.

Testimony

Thank God for all our teachers. Pastor Dennis Monmia has a lot going on but is committed to his class and CCI's vision. I also thank God for all our classes, especially Dennis' class in Saclapea, Nimba County.

Teacher Dennis is the primary caregiver for his sick wife. Despite all that is going on, Dennis has been able to balance his time to teach his students. This is a commitment, and I praise God for him.
