FEI Dallas Financial Executive Experience (FEE) Program – Mentors Needed!
FEI Dallas is looking for another 20 chapter members who are willing and able to support the FEE program as executive mentors to college students from local universities. The program runs from November to March and encompasses three separate one-on-one meetings with your mentee, at a time and place of your choosing. The FEE mentor program helps provide local college students with invaluable experience and networking with professionals in Dallas. For more details, or to sign up as a mentor, please contact feementors@gmail.com!
The FEI Dallas Chapter membership directory has gone to print and will be distributed in November. It is a hardcopy booklet published annually and distributed to all chapter members in good standing to help connect with FEI colleagues and our chapter sponsors. Each chapter member has a personal listing showing (as available in the FEI member database): name, company, job title, preferred address, phone number, email address, LinkedIn address, and a headshot.

FEI Online Member Directory
FEI members also have 24/7 access to FEI’s online membership directory. Links to the online directory are available at the FEI website, the Dallas Chapter website, and in our newsletters and weekly Upcoming Events emails like this one. FEI member login required.

Effectively Handling the Most Critical Interview Questions – Part 1
In placing over 1,100 business professionals over the last 28 years, Jim Ashworth has conducted and documented over 5,000 interview follow-ups. Very simply, he has learned that there are four areas of an interview that will determine which of typically 3-5 candidates will get hired.
In Part 1 of this two-part program, Jim will be covering the first two areas: “Reasons for leaving previous positions” and “Tell me about yourself/why don’t you go over your resume.” He will explain why traditional answers don’t work and how to more effectively handle these questions. Jim plans to conduct multiple role plays on both these areas attendees can experience the differences and more positive outcomes.
