Overcoming Math Anxiety

Sheila Tobias' original 1976 article  in Ms. magazine "Why Is a Smart Girl Like You Counting on her Fingers?" led to the book Overcoming Math Anxiety.  The announcement of Tobias' passing has renewed interest in her work including They're Not Dumb, They're Different which describes how and why college students leave the sciences.

"Trained in history and literature, she made an art of explaining what makes science and mathematics "hard" for people who are confident and successful in other fields."

Google Keep

Available in Android, ios or web version, Google Keep is a way to "save your thoughts wherever you are" as it works on your phone, tablet and computer. "Everything you add to Keep syncs across your devices so your important stuff is always with you. "

Notes, photos, lists and even audio can be captured and accessed across devices. It is a collaborative tool that allows for sharing in real time.

Google Keep goes beyond typing and allows for drawing which allows me to write Math even without paper -- here is a sample.
