October4, 2022

Dear Saints,

Happy October!  This month of October, we are learning about the virtue of studiousness - which is seeking knowledge to grow closer to the truth. The Truth is God himself! So we are seeking knowledge to help us grow closer to God. I hope you hear more about this from your children as they also learn about St. Albert the Great, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Edith Stein who all acquired knowledge through science or books to lead them closer to God!

As we approach the second quarter,  we are looking forward to a busy month full of activity as well as community time!  I hope that you will enjoy one-on-one time during parent teacher conferences to hear about your child’s individual growth and progress thus far.  We also hope you will join us as we celebrate Vocations Day, the Living Rosary, and Trunk or Treat!

One other big item that I am excited to share is that our Accreditation team will be visiting us beginning October 25th and will be here through the 28th!  Be on the lookout for other Catholic School representatives walking our campus and observing all the great things happening here at StJPII!  We are excited to show them our campus and highlight our successes in the areas of: Catholic Identity, Governance and Leadership, Curriculum Instruction and Assessment, Facilities and Student Services.
