The Greater Escondido Chamber of Commerce is launching San Diego’s North Inland County’s 1st ever digital directory app, the Greater Escondido Directory.
The GED app is the area’s first ever geo-specific digital resource with the most comprehensive vetted list of over 25,000+ LOCAL businesses presented in an intuitive app allowing for optimum uptake.
The Chamber has been working for over a year to build this powerful directory allowing users to identify LOCAL businesses and giving them everything they need to SHOP LOCAL!
Supporting local businesses is at the core mission of the Chamber and the GED app is a giant step forward in giving residents an easy option to SHOP LOCAL. And it’s right on their phone.
Plus, as an added reason to use the GED app is a Job Board function which allows all local businesses a free resource to post job openings. This is a crucial added benefit to the local business community as the ability to find a resource with mass reach in our sphere of influence for job postings is one of the biggest challenges local businesses have.
A broad based, mass reach marketing campaign is budgeted to create awareness and drive usage to the GED app, and is planned for launch in November, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
The Chamber is moving in an exciting new direction with the launch of the GED app and broadening our reach with the implementation of our sustainer model of membership. With a database of 25,000+ businesses under the Chamber’s umbrella we now have the opportunity to unite this large business community and work together to ensure that businesses who choose the North Inland County to do business have the greatest opportunity to succeed.
