Alpha Group does a wonderful job involving my daughter in activities throughout the area."

Thank you Fidelity Federal!!

MEET ALPHA'S NEW STAFF
Keith McArdle, Director of Operations
My wife, Julie, and I moved to Delaware from central Illinois last August to be closer to our only grandchild. We have two adult children, Kati and Drew who both live nearby.

I have worked in social services for over 35 years. The first half of my career I worked in child welfare with children that had emotional and behavioral difficulties. The last 18 years in Illinois, I was the President/CEO of a nonprofit agency serving adults with intellectual disabilities. The agency provides services similar to those we have at The Alpha Group.

I am an avid Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Bengals fan and also enjoy watching Ohio State football games.
Lana Switzer, Bookkeeper
My name is Lana Switzer, soon to be Lana Barber. I have taken the position of Bookkeeper who replaced Candice Lee. I have over 34 years of accounting experience with public service and 21 of those years were spent working as a Business Director/School Treasurer for the County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

I have recently retired from public service, but wanted to continue my career working for people with developmental disabilities at The Alpha Group.

I will be getting married on June 10th  and expecting my first granddaughter in the fall. My daughter and son-in-law both work at Black Wing, and my son is a Junior at Ohio Wesleyan.
MARION TECH INTERNS
Since the summer of 2014, The Alpha Group has partnered with Marion Technical College to provide an opportunity for Occupational Therapy students to complete their Fieldwork 1 course. The internship is four weeks long and 20 hours per week. OT students learn through direct observation and participation in a social service environment.

Alpha is thankful for the great relationship that has been built with Marion Technical College and has greatly benefited from the help of their students.
