AMERICAN EXPERIENCE presents two education-themed documentaries: The Busing Battleground (Monday, Sept. 11 @ 8:00 p.m.) looks back at school desegregation in 1970s Boston, and The Harvest (Tuesday, Sept. 12 @ 8:00 p.m.) learns how 1970s Leland, Mississippi desegregated its schools.

Becoming Frida Kahlo



Becoming Frida Kahlo reveals the Mexican artist as she really was. It premieres Tuesday, Sept. 19 @ 8:00 p.m.

Santos Vive


Santos Vive (Thursday, Sept. 21 @ 7:00 p.m.) profiles the 1973 shooting of 12-year-old Santos Rodriguez by a Dallas police officer.

American Masters:

A Song for Cesar



AMERICAN MASTERS: A Song for Cesar covers the life of the civil rights activist. It debuts Friday, Sept. 29 @ 9:00 p.m.

with The Atlantic


Jeffrey Goldberg, Editor-in-Chief of The Atlantic magazine, is the new moderator for Washington Week with The Atlantic, airing Fridays @ 7:00 p.m.

Call the Midwife | Season 12 | Streaming August 6

Call the Midwife follows the nurses, midwives and nuns from Nonnatus House, who visit the expectant mothers of Poplar, providing the poorest women with the best possible care.

Rewatch and binge all eight episodes of Season 12 with Passport before the rebroadcast in September 2023. Each episode will also be available in FVOD for 4 weeks beginning Sunday, September 3rd.

The first case for DCI Jessica James and her team is the discovery of human remains in a newly renovated period property in Hammersmith, West London. It looks like a murder dating back to the 1930s, but could the body have been disposed of in more recent times? There are baffling questions that need answering and DCI Jessica James will need to be at the top of her game. Can she work with DS Sunny Khan to work out what has happened?

Amsterdam—city of bikes, boats, and bodies. At least, that’s the way steely-eyed cop Piet Van der Valk sees his murder-infested beat. Marc Warren stars as the title character in Van der Valk, based on Nicolas Freeling’s legendary crime thrillers.
