Pastor Chris's Last Sunday Services

Easter Sunday - This will be Pastor Chris's last Sunday preaching and last day as Senior Pastor at GCC.

Pastor Ryan's First Sunday Service

SUNDAY, APRIL 27

10am

Pastor Ryan becomes our Senior Pastor on Monday, April 21. For his first official Sunday, April 27, we will have one combined worship service at 10am, followed by a luncheon celebration in the gym. Please register for the luncheon! Food will be provided at no cost but we welcome a freewill donation on the day to help offset the cost. Suggested amount would be $10 per person or $25 per family. Please bring a check or cash and deposit in the collection box that will be in the gym where we are eating.

Easter Week

Good Friday TruKids Service

FRIDAY, APRIL 18

6:30pm

GCC Fellowship Hall

This event of for TruKids aged K thru 5th grade only. The event will take place while adults attend the Good Friday service in the Sanctuary. As part of the event, Communion will be explained and served but you can opt out of your child receiving Communion during the registration process. Registration required. Please register TODAY if possible.

Good Friday Service

FRIDAY, APRIL 18

6:30pm

GCC Sanctuary

We will have a Good Friday Service at GCC on Friday, April 18 at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. The service will also be livestreamed.

Easter Egg Hunt & Cookie Decorating

SATURDAY, APRIL 19

9:30am @ GCC

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, April 19 starting at 9:30am. If the weather is fine we will hunt for eggs outside at the Welton Plaza. If it's wet we will hunt in the gym. The hunt will be followed by cookie decorating in the Fellowship Hall. This event is open to all families so please invite your family, friends and neighbors. No registration needed.

Lake County Bible Study Visitor Nights

MONDAY, APRIL 28 and MONDAY, MAY 5

7pm @ Fellowship Hall

Lake County Bible Study meets weekly at GCC on Monday nights at 7pm in Fellowship Hall from September thru May. They will be having visitor nights on Monday, April 28 and Monday, May 5. This would be a great evening to attend and see if this is something you'd like to be part of in the fall when we begin a new study. Bring a Bible!

Park City Kids Day

SATURDAY, MAY 17

GCC will once again be hosting their annual Park City Kids Day on Saturday, May 17 from noon-3pm at Betty Limbrunner Park in Park City. We need lots of volunteers to help make this a fun time For Our Neighbors in Park City. You can sign up online at any time to volunteer, or in the lobby on Sunday May 4 or May 11.

Senior (55+) Event

FRIDAY, MAY 16

@GCC Fellowship Hall

This event is free for all GCC Seniors (55+). We will enjoy a luncheon and a program around the theme of "Happy Birthday Everyone" including a trivia game. Please register online to attend by Sunday, May 11 or in the Lobby Sunday May 4 or May 11.

Summer Worship Schedule

MAY 25 - SEPTEMBER 7

10am @ GCC & Livestream

GCC will be having a modified Sunday worship schedule for the period May 25 through September 7. We will be having one service only at 10am during this period. These services will normally be in the Sanctuary, except for outdoor worship on August 12 (Gurnee Days) and September 7 (Church Picnic) when we will be in the Welton Plaza.

The 10am service will be a blended style of worship, will have a children's message, and children's Sunday school after dismissal. Sunday AM Adult Bible Study will meet at 8:30am.
