Welcome Back Breakfast

The RHS Staff started off September with a Welcome Back Breakfast put on by your PTSA. It was grab-n-go fare with bagels & cream cheese, muffins, scones, fruit, yogurt, and coffee or tea.

A huge “Thank You” goes out to the volunteers who helped make this event happen: Lisa, Renukka, Pam, Neeta, Matt, and Tracey.

Show your Spirit with a Redmond High School Blanket

Cool weather and football season are coming! You can keep warm and show your RHS spirit under a warm and cozy blanket. These soft, double-sided blankets are 60" x 80" and perfect for both inside and outside. Sales of Redmond High School spirit blanks help support Grad Night to make ticket prices lower for all seniors.

Calling all Mustang Artists!

Reflections I am hopeful because

The Reflections Program is a National PTA cultural arts competition. Students use their creative talents to express themselves through an original work of art in response to a theme.

The theme for this year's program is “I am Hopeful Because…”. Art work can be expressed in one or more of the following categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. Visit our Reflections page for more information.

Now is the time to start working on this year's Reflection art work. We cannot wait to see your creations! You can find more information here.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Laptop Rollout Volunteers Needed

Can you spare some time this Wednesday, September 6, to help RHS staff distribute laptops to our 9th grade students? They need our help! Please sign up here.

PTSA Volunteer Opportunities

Are you interested in getting more involved and help improve our school community? We have several key PTSA positions open that we would like you to consider.

  • Beautification Chairperson – organize planting and care of drought-tolerant native plants in gardens around campus to keep us green and beautiful!

  • Art Fair Chairperson – help us host a community Art Fair this upcoming spring. Planning starts now to organize and line up vendors. This is a fun project that you can do from home!

  • VP of Ways & Means – this is a board position where you can have big impact! Plan and manage the PTSA’s fundraising efforts to make sure we have the resources to fund important programs and grants for our school

  • Reflections Chairperson – oversee the PTSA’s annual student art competition. Training is provided. This is another fun project that can be done from home. This is mostly a fall project and does not require a year-long commitment.

We would love to work with you! If you would like more information about any of these positions, please email volunteers@redmondhsptsa.org.
