FROM THE DEVELOPMENT OFFICE

Many businesses support St. Luke's through a rewards (or similar) program. Please consider signing up for any/all of them at no cost to you but at a significant reward to St. Luke's. Upcoming issues of Paw Prints will feature different establishments offering us support.

If you have trouble locating or signing up for these programs, please contact Diane McCleery at 251.666.2991 or dmccleery@slesmobile.org. Most have St. Luke's Episcopal School as an option for your non-profit of choice.

Club Publix

Seventeen (17) St. Luke's families and friends are enrolled in this program. If you are one of them, THANK YOU! By simply creating a Club Publix account and designating our school as your non-profit of choice, you can also participate and help out. Between April and June, these 17 families earned the school $304.32. Similar-sized schools to us in our geographical area collect reward checks of many times that amount. If our families and extended family members who routinely shop at Publix would take five minutes to sign up, we could also receive thousands of dollars from Publix. Will you do it now? How about passing this information along to grandparents, aunts and uncles, and anyone else who shops at Publix?

You can sign up online here https://clubpublix.com/

You can sign up with your mobile device here http://publix.com/mobile

If you are an experienced grant writer or want to learn how to conduct research and write grant requests for our school, please email our development office at dmccleery@slesmobile.org. Use GRANTS in the subject line. We are currently making plans to hold a Grant Writing Workshop and we would love for you to attend!

Our first grant of the new school year has arrived!! Thanks to the Blue Cross Blue Shield Caring Foundation and their Be Healthy Grant Program, St. Luke's is one of the lucky recipients of a sizeable donation. We are excited to partner with them in their goal to increase the health and wellness of the school children in Alabama. These funds will be used to purchase the following.

9th-12th Grade (2) weight room power racks, (2) roll workout mats, leg press machine

6th-9th grade - Brain Pump Classroom Pack

The JPA would like to thank everyone who came out to power wash, pull weeds, hedge trim, clear debris and have fun! Go Wildcats!" - Mary Banks (JPA Co-President)
