CARNIVAL 2025 MARDI GRAS

FAMILY UNDERWRITING THANKS YOU

Thank you to all of our PES Families for their support and generosity. We've raised over $38,000!

Our top class, with 100% participation and the most money raised is Ms. Perez! Our 2nd and 3rd place winners are: Ms. Barlow and Ms. Torres! All 3 classes will be participating in the in-house GABIE Bus Adventure and a pizza party!

Ms. Armenteros’ class will also receive a pizza party for their efforts!

PARKING

Where do I park for Carnival? PES families have a few options. Parking is available in the following locations:

• Teacher Parking Lots on 102nd Street 

• Street parking along 102nd Street, 104th Street, or 57th Avenue (Note "NO PARKING" signage should be covered and should not be enforced.)

• The PTA has rented the parking lot at Christ The King Church, located on 112th and 57th Avenue and we will have a shuttle service to bring families to and from school via the Village of Pinecrest shuttle buses. The shuttle buses will be circulating to and from our school every 15-20 minutes, or when the shuttle bus is full. The buses will run from 9:30 AM - 5 PM. 

For a no homework pass, students can ride bikes. Street legal golf carts are also welcome. Bicycle and golf cart parking will be located on the Big Toy field, entrance on 104 street. The Village of Pinecrest is holding its own raffle where cyclists can enter to win an Annual Family Pass to Pinecrest Gardens or a new bicycle. We encourage students to ride their bikes to Carnival! 

If you live in Pinecrest, FREEBEE ride share is an option, as well. 

Please note that we continue to work with the Village of Pinecrest and our surrounding neighbors to find parking options and alternatives for this and all of our events. Please be mindful not to block our neighbors' driveways. Thank you for your understanding and we can't wait to see you at our MARDI GRAS CARNIVAL. THE BIGGEST PARROT PARTY OF THE YEAR!

CARNIVAL TICKET INFO

Tickets are available for purchase under the tent near the school entrance on 57th Ave this week, Monday - Friday (1/27 - 1/31) from 7:45 - 8:45 AM and 1:30 - 3:30 PM. Sales this week at school will be credit card only, NO CASH.

Can't make it this week? Purchase tickets Saturday at Carnival under the Main Tent at the Ticket Booth. Sales at Carnival are both credit card AND cash.

Any tickets & wristbands that were pre-purchased online can be collected at Will Call under the tent near the school entrance on 57th Ave this week from 7:45 - 8:45 AM; 1:30 - 3:30 PM AND at Carnival under the Main Tent at the Ticket Booth.

CARNIVAL BASKET PRE-SALE

Browse our inventory of amazing gift baskets like Grill Master's, Curious Chemist and Outdoor Oasis. The themes this year are epic! Remember, all proceeds go directly back to our school.

BIKE TO CARNIVAL

New this year, if you opt out of driving and ride your bike, your student will receive a NO HOMEWORK PASS. We all know those are like GOLD! Bicyclists will also be eligible to enter a Village of Pinecrest raffle to win an annual family pass to Pinecrest Gardens or a new bicycle! More info below.

WHILE YOU'RE GETTING YOUR TIX, GRAB SOME JIBBITZ!

Support our 5th grade Class of 2025 and grab some Pinecrest themed jibbitz while you're getting your Carnival tickets. They're conveniently being sold inside the Ticket Sales tent on 57th Ave! Can't make it this week? They will be on sale at Carnival too!

BEFORE CARNIVAL, VISIT THE LOST AND FOUND!

Missing something? Check out the lost and found today or Friday, during drop off and pick up. We will also be open during Carnival, so stop on by! All remaining items will be donated if they are not collected this week.
