Prayers for Happening #152

Happening #152 is taking place at Camp Weed this weekend! Please keep our candidates and team members in your thoughts and prayers for a safe, fun Christ-filled weekend that will touch each of them in their own way. Our candidates are Blake Dunham, Emi Gassert, Georgia Lake and Joe McKenzie. Our team members are Nick Spicer (Rector for the weekend), Hunter Alba, Jennah Rush, Felix Booth, William Milne, Crissy Spicer and Dan Dallam. Both Mother Sara Rich and Father Justin Yawn are also on team as members of the God Squad! When you see them around our campus, please be sure to ask them about their experience, they will be glad to share it with you. If you have a high school student who would like to attend a Happening weekend, the next one is coming up around the corner on April 25-27.

Baskets for New Beginnings

Our Outreach Committee is collecting monetary donations to purchase household and cleaning supplies to be provided to homeless individuals and families who are transitioning into permanent housing. These baskets help foster a new beginning to those who are moving into housing with little to no belongings. Donations are being collected through the end of February. Please memo any checks as “Baskets for New Beginnings” or use the QR code here. If you have questions or would like to help shop, assemble baskets or deliver to SJC Homeless Providers, please contact Tracy Dillon.

Illuminations: God’s Unfolding Light

Sundays at 9AM in Parish Hall

Immerse yourself in a transformative journey through Scripture that will deepen your understanding of God’s love and calling in your life. This eight-week series will explore themes such as identity, renewal, community, and the power of forgiveness, inviting you to engage with God’s light that brings hope and growth. Each week, we will dive into inspiring passages from Isaiah, Nehemiah, Malachi, and more, encouraging table conversation, lecture, and meaningful discussion on how to embody these teachings in our lives and communities. Mark your calendars and be ready to shine!
