MERRY SHOPPING!

Get in the holiday spirit and start your Christmas shopping at Saint Mary's annual outdoor Christmas Market and support our PTA with Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 3. Sip hot chocolate, take a photo with Santa, and find unique gifts for everyone on your list.

From the

Principal's Desk

It was another successful week at Saint Mary School. We had prefect weather for our Boosterthon Glow Run, which brought our entire school together and kept us moving. We shattered our fundraising goal and had a great time doing it.

Our Veterans Day Mass was beautiful. It was exceptional to see parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles who have served, or are currently serving, all join us, making it an extra special Mass for our entire community. Thank you for your service!

We are halfway through Catholic Schools Week. It was great to see so many families gather after Mass on Sunday and share their love for our school. We encourage all families who are considering Catholic eduction to give us a call. We are always happy to give a tour and share all of the wonderful work our school is doing.

We have now switched over to winter uniforms. Please make sure you review and follow all aspects of the dress code outlined in our handbook.

God Bless.

ICLE School Leaders Forum

Every year, the institute schedules several School Leaders Forums at ICLE flagship member schools so new schools can see Catholic liberal arts education in practice. We are excited to have Craig Palmer, Patrick Mullen, and Antoinette Cea-Lopes representing Saint Mary School at the end of this week. They will observe classes, speak with faculty, and participate in seminars and workshops on various aspects of running a Catholic classical liberal arts school with special emphasis on curriculum and pedagogy. We can't wait to receive confirmation of the practices we have already put in place, as well as learn about new programs that can be brought back to Saint Mary.

Lunchtime Success

We have almost made it through our first quarter with the new lunch program. Thank you to all who took the time to fill out our survey. The results were overwhelmingly positive. Thank you to Homestyle Kitchen for providing great options for our students.

Catholic education helps children build character. At Saint Mary School, there is a true feeling of community filled with joy and belonging. There is a partnership between teachers, parents, and students. Our students are respectful, socially mature, and eager to learn. I am inspired by the commitment of my fellow teachers, who go above and beyond every day to provide a positive and nurturing environment for Saint Mary students."

There are so many great things happening at Saint Mary Church this time of year. "Come Home for Christmas at Saint Mary's" is a wonderful invitation to join Fr. Jeff for Christmas dinner. If you know someone who might benefit from this invitation, please share it. No one should be alone on Christmas.

We have our:

  • Christmas 50/50 (nearly $50,000 last year). Pick up your books after Mass.
  • Lessons and Carols.
  • Blessing of the Baby Jesus.
  • Advent Confessions.
  • Christmas Tree Lighting.
