John 14:18-21

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia! Every Easter we commemorate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. However, this is far more than a one day celebration. Jesus’ resurrection is the cornerstone and very heartbeat of our faith. In fact, today we will learn from the Apostle Paul that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is now working in and through every Christ-follower today. His resurrection victory empowers us to live triumphantly over sin, fear, death, and every life challenge.

Spring Clean Up

Please join our annual “Spring Clean Up” day at church on Saturday, April 26, from 8:30am-Noon. There will be a list of numerous indoor and outdoor projects that need to be accomplished. This includes projects from our HERE Mission partners, FOC Preschool and Child Care, too. Thanks for making a difference in beautifying God’s house and grounds.

Women's Ministry Event

Saturday, May 3 | 9:30am-Noon

Coffee and continental breakfast will start at 9:30am. This will be followed by worship and our speaker, Katie Jo Whitney, who will be sharing a message from Luke 14:7-14. What does it look like to invite? The event will also include some service and creativity opportunities.

Stephen Ministry Commissioning April 27

Congratulations to the following individuals who have completed 50 hours of training and will be commissioned to be Stephen Ministers at the 9 am service on April 27: Steve Carmichael, Kay Clemmer, Dawn Tracey, Susan Fries, Karyn Perry and Goody Vokovan These gifted people will follow in Jesus’ footsteps by providing one-to-one Christian care to those who are going through a variety of life difficulties. If you know someone who is going through a difficult time, talk with one of our Stephen Ministry Leaders: Joyce Manning, Judy Bergland, Richard Lane.
