Registration tips for the upcoming semester
The time is finally here! You can view all of the fall semester OLLI offerings on our website. Many of you have already received your mailer. Registration opens soon, on September 6 at 10:00 a.m. You will find many offerings to ignite your imagination and sate your curiosity. We encourage you to renew your membership and enroll soon after registration opens; several programs have limited space.
We are so excited to see you at the Fall Semester Reception on September 8! Please mark your calendars and come to socialize over tasty snacks and refreshing beverages and meet several of the fall speakers. A short video of the fall instructors will be featured, inviting you to their courses.
In addition, we invite all our new and prospective OLLI at MSU members to join us at the New Member Ice Cream Social at Story Mill Park on September 11.
We can't wait to share this informative and engaging semester with you.

September Friday Forum: Statewide Fisheries Management Plan for Montana
Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks Statewide Fisheries Management Plan has recently been released for public comment. The plan provides management direction for all state waters under the jurisdiction of MT FWP.
Mike Duncan, fisheries manager for Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks Region 3, will discuss the extensive scientific research that went into the plan, the development process, which included many state officials and employees, and the role of the public in the public comment process. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.

Registration for the September Friday Forum is open now. Participants must register by 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15. Upon registration confirmation, participants will receive an email with the Zoom link and instructions to join the program.
Friday Forum offers presentations and lively discussions on local and regional timely topics. Friday Forum is free and open to the public.

Learning Opportunities for Everyone - Feed your curiosity at a price that works for you!
We strive to keep member participation affordable so everyone 50 years of age and better can engage with us in lifelong learning. We also understand that program or event fees can sometimes be prohibitive. Therefore, OLLI at MSU offers financial assistance for both tuition and membership.
We are grateful to the family and friends of our late OLLI at MSU leader and consummate lifelong learner, Doug Young, for establishing the Doug Young Memorial Scholarship Fund. We encourage you to apply for membership or program tuition assistance as needed, and please encourage your neighbor or friend to do the same. Our application is quick and easy. Osher Online Courses - Save the Date!

Experience shared online presentations with OLLI members from coast to coast! As part of the Osher Online program, OLLI at MSU members will enjoy national speakers and interact with fellow OLLI members across the nation. Osher Online programs are not recorded.
Orientation will take place Tuesday, September 19, 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. or Thursday, September 21, 2:00 - 2:30 p.m. The orientation session covers Osher Online's unique website, and will be recorded for later viewing.
