Consider Supporting the Forage Center on #GivingTuesday
Today is Giving Tuesday, a set day set aside for supporting not-for-profits and organizations that are "doing good" in local and international communities. The Forage Center for Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Education has since 2015 supported the humanitarian and peacebuilding communities with training and education for aspiring professionals seeking to make a positive change in the world. As a 501c3 entity, we don't seek a profit from our work, only to cover expenses. Your donation, no matter what the amount, can support our work and make our programs more available to student, community, and professional audiences. To make a tax deductible donation, go here. And thank you for your generosity!

Forage Center Resumes Face-to-Face Programming
|
The Forage Center held a multiday in-person simulation in October at Arcadia University in partnership with their International Peace and Conflict Resolution graduate program — our first face-to-face program in two years. Read more about the event here.
We are currently planning a four-day full-immersion simulation to be held at our training facility in Western Maryland in June 2022, pandemic permitting. For more information, contact Kate Fergus at kate@foragecenter.org.

The Forage Center co-sponsored the 9th Annual National Community College Peacebuilding Seminar held virtually on three consecutive weekends in October and November.
This seminar is the only national educational program for community college professionals in Washington D.C. focused on peacebuilding, human rights, social justice, international affairs, conflict resolution, and nonviolence. The 2021 seminar brought together 60 faculty, students, and administrators from 20 colleges and universities to consider these issues.
