On Friday evening, at he Disneyland' Resort Hotel, many of Orange County's best and brightest teachers were honored at the 2023 Orange County Teacher of the Year gala. The event celebrated teachers who have made extraordinary contributions to quality education.

Plavan teacher, Jill Summerhays, was celebrated as an OC TOTY!.

California Commission on Teacher Credentialing provides grants to assist classified employees in pursuit of their teaching credentials. Grant recipients also receive a mentor to guide them through the credential program. FVSD is thrilled to announce that nine of our employees were awarded the grant this year. Five of them are pictured here.

FVSD is happy to announce our new Anonymous Reporting tip line. We have a dedicated phone line for FVSD that is manned 24/7. You can call or text the phone number, use the QR code, or the link on each school site's webpage to file a report. These tips are sent to the appropriate people to help ensure the safety of our students. If you need assistance regarding your child at school, please contact the teacher and/or principal directly.
