Short-Term Study Away Program - Mexico
Don't have the time or the finances to consider a semester-length study abroad program? A short-term study away program may be right for you! This summer's short-term study away program will travel to Mexico from June 16-July 18. Join and learn about Mexican culture, history, and politics. Learn more about this opportunity.

Sustainability Treasure Hunt - Earth Day
DVC's sustainability committee has put together a campus treasure hunt to honor Earth Day. You can take part in the hunt by yourself or in teams from April 18-23. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the college's environmental efforts and how you can be more ecofriendly. You can also qualify for prizes! Work-based learning is an excellent way to implement your classroom content, build your employability skills, and gain valuable leadership skills. Apply for summer financial aid
Are you planning to enroll for summer 2022? You may qualify for financial aid, such as grants, fee waivers, or student loans to help you pay for your summer classes. Make sure to complete both your 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 financial aid applications to be considered. For more information, visit DVC Financial Aid.

CalFresh
Need help buying food? CalFresh is for everyone! Employed and unemployed individuals, families, seniors, people with disabilities, those experiencing homelessness, active and non-active military personnel. If you’re within the income limits, you may be eligible for up to $250 a month. See if you are eligible for CalFresh today.

Emergency grants
Emergency grants of $1000 are available to students enrolled for spring. If you are enrolled, have emergency expenses related to COVID-19 or your cost of attendance, and you have not received funding for the 2020-21 academic year, you can submit a request for financial assistance. PUMA STEM scholarship
Are you majoring in biology, the natural sciences (chemistry, geology, astronomy), math, physics, or engineering and planning to transfer to a four-year school? If so, you may be eligible for a scholarship of up to $4,300 annually for up to three years. The PUMA STEM scholarship is now accepting applications! Learn more about the PUMA STEM scholarship.

Summer registration is here and fall will be coming soon! Want to avoid long drop-in wait times? Want to see a counselor before appointments fill up? Plan ahead and meet with a counselor now. We offer both virtual and in-person appointments to help with educational planning and to answer more in depth questions. To make an appointment, you can call the DVC Counseling Office at 925-969-2140 or use our online system.

DVC Free Produce Market
The DVC Food Pantry will be hosting a free produce market on Thursday, April 21 from noon to 3pm. This market is located in front of the Student Union Building and open to all students in need of fresh fruits and vegetables. For more information, visit Free Food Resources.
